cant get this to work only if i do it manualy and copy cvrs to collections folder ??? :downer
What happens when you save the CVR out from the CVR Creator? It works for me.
im just moving selected genres in my case say -singles rock collection-from my geres folder
to collections
as when i try to copy and save it with the creator it comes up as save image files ??? its prob me i did it once and cant remember how ::)
Copying the CVR's will work just as well the CVR creator is for creating custom CVR files.
i know what it use is i just not sure how to use it ???
would prefure to use the creator because im going the long way around
im regenerating my library using singles collection with genres box ticked only and then
removing the cvrs from the the genre and moving them to collections
and then i have to regenerate my main cd library to put it back again so
this way i have my cd library as normal and my singles in collections
but its very long winded and means going into program files i thought
the cvr creator would do this job for me without going the long way
around or have i got the wrong idea about the creator

The CVR Creator will let you make CVR files based on the current libraries. So if your singles collection is not generated in the main library then what you are doing is probably the only way. You could automate it with a bat file and use command line switches to do the generation and copy the CVR files across. I tag the genre of my singles as singles which makes it easy to move that CVR file across. Remeber if the files only exist in a CVR file and not a REC file they will not be searchable anyway.

It does say saving image file, i have fixed this typo now for the next release it was still filtering on CVR files.
i have got to know it more better for now will play around with it on my laptop :beer
