Title: I can't get Album labels to work.
Post by: jacktucky on December 05, 2007, 11:18:11 PM
I think I asked this question before.   I can't find it.

No matter if I check transparent artist/album labels or not, all of my album labels are black on black.

When I check/uncheck  Show Label Background in the tools window it looks nice.

I tried clicking the album label in the skin tool, but where do I change the colors?

WTF do I do? :tommy

Click the album label in the skin tool then change the colour as you would normally in the skintool for any other button. Then save the COV file and it should load up correctly.

I was looking for some indication that I was working on the label when I clicked it.  But I clicked the color box and changed it to white and it looks fine.

I save the cover file.  Save the Skin.

Reload Freebox.  It's not changed.

I saved the cover file to a new name just to make sure I was loading the right thing.  It's still not working.

Ideally, I don't want any background.  When I click the check box not to show the background it looks great but it doesn't work when running Freebox.

Attached is how it looks in skintool, and then freebox.

Hey Barry:

I just downloaded the latest version tonight and I can't get it to work.  Now I get no labels.....

Is there something in my skin that's bad?

Even in the V3defaultBlue I don't see anything.  :tommy :tommy :tommy :tommy :tommy :tommy

In the options screen of freebox you can turn the labels off. Check in there.

Barry, I do have that checked, and they do show in the audio tab.

So I have two problems.

Artist name doesn't show in the videos tab.

In Audio tab, no matter what I check in the skin tool, the backgrounds show for the artist/album names.  If I change the background color of the labels, they don't change.

You think it's possible that it's not being updated in the ini files somewhere?  I was trying to figure out where that show backgrounds check box was.

I have a party Saturday  ;)
