Title: Different Problem With Displaying Album Art
Post by: Merkyn on July 12, 2015, 06:38:42 PM
Hello, I recently donated towards the full home version but can't get any album art to display because I already associated the art with the mp3 itself and no longer have the jpeg.  Is there any way I can get e-touch to display that album art without having to have a .jpg in the folder?  Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately no, however you can use something like tag and rename to extract the artwork. The reason i didnt support embedded art work was because i couldn't display it quickly that way. You can use the config to download it for you as well but it might be quicker using a tool to extract it out as cover.jpg back covers are supported called back.jpg and if they exist are shown by clicking the cover image when viewing the tracklisting.

You will find it works quicker if you have cover thumbnails, i call mine coversmall.jpg and have them set at 140x140. Make sure in e-touch you are using the specified filename and not first image found which is slower and can show the wrong image.
