the longer facts are shutting off too early on the led sign. i havnt seen too many short ones so in all every one ive seen so far hasnt finished??
-V3.25- the initial fact will not function properly on the sign. some ive seen cause random characters until it times out, others just stays with artist/track until next fact starts.
-possible solution- can the initial fact be timed to start after the first rotation of artist/track info? OR can it be timed to finish the fact regardless how long it stays up on the second screen. i dunno
The work around will be to add a user controlled timer for the fact to be displayed. However you will see looping then on the sign.
constant looping then...so i would have to give up the fancy display stuff for the shorter artist/track names? hmmmmm. that IS a tough choice :-\
-edit- after thinking about it, did you mean just looping the shorter facts or indeed constant looping. i did have one fact that was just a few words and it nearly made it thru two cycles. thats what made me think this..
Yes the facts that were shorter would loop. Because you can only do it by time.
just the shorter facts then,...hmmm i can live with that methinks. i'll have to dig in the manual about manual timing and give it a try.
Dude you cannot alter the time the facts are displayed right now, i will have to add this to a later release... Tonight i am just drinking a few newcastles and chilling out with my juke blasting.
got my facts running on my chinese bigboard sign and all in all they show perfect its alot faster than my betabrite at showing the facts and just about gets all the info on . so now i use my betabrite for showing the artist and song info. not sure if anybody read the facts anyway at my last party but as a background graphic alone they do look cool.
I don't even use my display anymore... :downer
oh, ok. well then i guess i will just have to sit back and enjoy what it is for now. its not really a big deal thru the led anyways.....just cool. ;) but like casper said not too many people are probly trying to read the entire message thru that anyways. but i do enjoy seeing it popup on the multi screens too, thats where one can actually read the entire fact.

ah i understand normally i dont go to the now playing screen so i didn't notice just tried it now and i see what you meen. does it display on the second monitor aswell i am just running one at the moment i hope i will be able to set it wirelessly to my tv screen when i can found a decent sender?

i had a seleco projecto that was 12ft acorss.. Don't know the diagnol but it was life size. Porn was scary on there, i know that much LOL
So I FInallyh have a motherboard with dual displays so all videos are going to second display
songfatcs are working nicely as well, I have noticed however facts are nto going to my chinese sign at all.
even know i set the options to display facts on betabrite.
Any idea how to make this work ?
should work you probably already no this but the sign should be set to chinese bigboard and these settings
Baud Rate: 2400
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: 1
Parity: None
or it could be your settings in device manager try re-installing the drivers for the sign that may help.
You Missunderstand.
The LED works fine for Artist and song, it is just songfacts it is not displaying.

After reading through this ...one question. Is there a way for songfacts to display on second monitor or were you just talking about a second betabrite?
