Title: V10 Skins Showcase
Post by: berrywell on March 27, 2017, 01:35:30 PM
As a few people have been asking about what other skins are available for E-Touch V10 in addition to those bundled with the software, they are now showcased in this thread.

The following skins are available to download in the V10 Skin Section, to gain access to these you will need to be either a V10 Member, a Lifetime Supporter or a Commercial Operator Licence holder.
Note: other skins are available from the Private Skins and the V9 Skins section, however these are NOT shown in this thread.
The numbers show are the screen resolution of the skin (e.g. 1024x768).

There are more skins available including the original Black & Blue (BnB) and Black & Red (BnR) skins from the Private skins sections which require a Lifetime Supporter or Commercial licence.

You kept the retro singles quiet. I am shocked you choose to display genres, pleasantly shocked that always made the top of the pops jukebox look sexy, as in some respects it gave people faster access to the music that they wanted, rather than having to go through different menus.

It almost looks as old as JukeboxJohn as well ;)

Regards

Mark

(this post really should be a sticky)

Hey Mark,

Yeah, kept it low-key as I just thought it was easier to keep all the V10 skins to one post, makes it easier for newbies to look through and see what's on offer.

The only thing I will say is that I would have stripped out the jukebox id number and have used that space for a graphic, or maybe had it so I had more room for the artist and title tag.

Still your baby though, you must be a glutton for punishment skinning so much? I actually hate it, which is why I take so many breaks lol

That space is already set up for a header graphic, the tab for a header gif is placed just there, up to any users of the skin to add one to the images folder.
Whoever uses it just needs add a gif file to the images folder and then go to skin.ini, look for the line called Logo & add the following below it (line 36).

\images\name_of_graphic_file.gif

(where the name of graphic file needs replacing with the name of the gif they've created.)

so the skin.ini would probably end up looking something like this....

Album Frame

Player Contols

Logo
\images\header.gif
Number of tracks shown
Combo1
Genre Icons
NULL

As for the Jukebox ID bit, this can easily be turned off in the settings ;)

I just noticed something, some of these skins are 1920 x 1080 on my arcade machine with this monitor, then I am the same, I will be booting the office PC later, but I swear that was higher than what it is currently.

Ok interesting.

hey Mark,

You've lost me with your last post, what are you actually referring to?

I didn't realise some of these skins were 1920 x 1080 when the pain in the backside said earlier about blue neon I thought I would have a look at the skin, and noticed a few 1920 x 1080 skins.

I am not sure what my other touch screen is now as not used that for ages, but that is a 20 inch monitor my office monitor is 24 inches but not touch screen.

I am already doing that, messing around with the arcade machine for a change, taking some time off from skinning and tagging, was getting a chore again. Roll on another 2 or 3 hours then I can start on the eight pack in my fridge, and then win the lottery tonight.
