Title: Back to the Future skin
Post by: aetpilot on March 23, 2022, 12:03:50 AM
I am starting a BTTF skin.  The main page will be the Decades.

1)  Can the time stamp that shows on the main page be put on another page?

2)  I have had no luck changing the font or size of the time and date field.  Is this field adjustable?

3)  Finally, can the field be parsed into segments?

Hi,

1) I am unaware of a time stamp? However, you cannot transfer one thing to the next, so you cannot copy something from the main page to the decades page as an example

2) Yes it should be adjustable using the font sizes

3) Any fields will just be standard so if you are talking about a date it will always be 20th Jan 2022 as an example, you cannot break that up into three different segments.

As Barry always says make sure you are on the latest beta version 10.2.1 Beta 18 at the time of writing this, as he has made changes to the skin tool as well I believe.

If you still cannot get something to work, then try going down a version, all what you need to do is download an older version, extract and remove the skin tool and use that.

However, without being able to see what you mean, especially about a time stamp on the main page it is hard to know what you are actually saying about.

I would often strip out things that I do not want, so maybe this is one of the things that I would remove from the display so that it never showed.

Regards

Mark

To do this you would need to make the other pages smaller so that it is still visible from the main page, however this will not work in all instances.
