Title: KARAOKE IN FULL SCREEN
Post by: joselito5882 on August 07, 2008, 03:58:25 PM
When I am using FreeboxJukebox V4 in "full screen", it plays music ok, but when I try to play karaoke files, it doesn´t work, don't show "lirics" in screen, only play music. But if I use it in "window screen" it works great. What can I do?.

PD: I try to use "Auto full screen for karaoke/Video (Single screen)", too.

If you are using the same monitor you don't need to use dual screen. Just go to the now playing screen and it should be displayed there. Click it and it will go full screen

Related to MP3+cdg I noticed that when MP3 is compressed in VBR the song duration is in WMP and
also Freebox is almost the double and when finishes it gets stuck and doesn't permit to continue
with the queue until I force it to finish wit "next".

I wonder if anyone experienced this issue.

What I do to resolve above mention is to re-convert MP3 to CBR mode (lossy to lossy ???)
and that way the cdg+mp3 works ok.

Anny comments????

Try and grab the K-Lite codec pack. That normally sorts out errors of this nature.

Barry :
I still have the issue of mp3 encoded with VBR mode. The mp3 itself play ok but running in pair with cdg
gives a little bit of problems in WMP. (or any jukebox I have tested).
I did ask to the guy of power karaoke and see what he answered FYI.
Seems tht I need to rip CDG+MP3 using CBR to avoid playing problems.

Hi :
Any idea why my CDG + MP3 encoded in mode VBR with cdg burner
don't work properly in WMP??
e.g.
If I have a CDG +MP3 running in WMP which song duration is 2
mins wmp show about the double (4 mns. and when finish those 4mns)
wmp doesn't permit to continue with the next song queued.
Note : The mp3 itself runs ok,the problems is when running cdg+mp3.
Another note :
If I encode with CBR in MP3 all flows perfectly.
Thanks.

VBR does not allow proper seeking within the file without scanning the entire content of the file, therefore it does not work well with some software (Karaoke CD+G Creator also may have problems with some VBR files). We recommend using CBR for karaoke.
