I have little or no programming knowledge but what Im looking for is this for my touchscreen setup;

Computer starts up directly to a page containing 3 large icons.
1 for freebox, 1 for name that tune and one for my touch screen mame games
each of the three icons when touched would launch its respective programs
when the programs were exited you would return to this same screen.
skinnable background
keyboard shortcut or small unobtrusive icon to exit to windows

1.  Is this something that is already available and Im just not finding it
2.  Is it something that would be easy to create
3.  Am I crazy

Try this free FE from Lave Laar called SimpleTouch FE http://home.online.no/~llindga/ everything on it can be configured. Just put the exe in your startup and it will come up when booting.

Novalak

try gameex (gameex.net)

wont be icons but you can have menu options

Yep that's what I use.....

Mostly so I can listen to radio stations and then launch Freebox if required...

How many touchscreen mame games are there? Is there anything besides the early touchmaster and megatouch stuff?

Barcrest

In mame that is all there is.. The games i have mean you can exit them via a button on the screen.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, but have been setting up my touchscreen jukebox.  I am looking to get some advice from the resident experts here about using Mame with a front-end.  I've setup the simpletouchfe on my jukebox and I have Mame setup as well to run TouchMaster 8k.  I know how to setup mame in the frontend, but is there a way to get mame to automatically start TM8K instead of going to the Mame Menu?

I'm running MameUI.

Thanks for the help,

Brad

Lave Laar

Just put TM8K in the parameters box.  That should start the Touchmaster directly.
