I am getting an error Runtime Error '9': Subscript out of range when in random mode. I find i can replicate this every time if im in random mode and clicking to the next song, though it will happen by itself if I just leave it in random mode. It will happen randomly somwhere between 2 and 20 songs in, doesnt matter which song. I have tested the songs individually and they work fine even when repeated in random mode the next time, it seems to be a very "random" error. I have tried the following

1. Deleted the freebox.ini
2. Deleted config.ini
3. Deleted and regenerated the album files (record.rec)
4. Complete uninstall & reinstall

Im using the 4.0.18 demo as I have just donated (only 10 minutes ago) and have not got the upgraded account yet.

I have also found that upon startup after such a crash, a random song begins to play before the splash screen goes and when the interface comes up it says "No song playing" but the time is incrementing (but the time button does not move). When the next random song starts all is ok again until the runtime error.

Hope I have provided enought info
Any help would be much appreciated

I would update to the newest official release once it's available to you, there have been and currently still are updates to the random play mode feature.

Just tested 4.0.19 and it still happens exactly as I explained. Im Going to try this on a second PC today to see if it is just my PC or not. Im currently on a Vista PC so I will try it on an XP PC.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Have you got the do not repeat random songs set?
Are you using just the audio library for your random songs?
Can you post a screen grab of the settings on your random options screen so i can replicate?

If you can provide that information i will do some digging.

Have just tested on XP Machine and it happens as well. Screens are linked below

Could this be anything to do with my library, I do have some "untagged" songs but it happens on songs that are tagged as well, and as I said before, the songs it crashes on , will work ok at a different time. I have not got the time to test today, but will try and test with a smaller , perfectly tagged library tommorow (10 albums or so)
