I completely changed my album folders and ran the config tool to update the library but all I get is 0 files found, 0 files updated etc.

I tried adding files to existing database, no joy. I replaced the whole album folders but no joy. I deleted the records.XXX files but still no joy. I just get the same "0 media files found" etc.

Im using the latest version, 5.00.36. I was using an older version but I updated it to try fix it! I tried unchecking boxes and running generate library/ update library aswell. No Joy. On the latest version I checked the clear database boxes but nothing.

Thanks

might sound stupid (ive done it). have you pointed to the correct directory?

Barcrest

Yeah sounds like you are not pointing it to any media files. Also check you have the extension for the files you are searching for in the search mask.

I had it working fine for ages, then I added a few albums (same format, tagged identical etc) but when I re-ran the config it came up with some runtime error. So I did as I said above and deleted the records.xxx files, reinstalled a few times etc etc. but still no luck.

Its definetely pointing at the correct directory, same format etc. I just started from scratch again and it can't find anything.

Check your mask.ini, you can copy the contents and paste them here so we can see if that is correct.

QuoteSearch Mask
*.mpg;*.mpeg;*.avi;*.wmv;*.wma;*.wav;*.mkv;*.flv;*.mp4

This is all thats in my mask.ini . I can see myself it doesn't say .mp3 anywhere?!

Heres a video of what I get. Am I doing something wrong maybe ?

EDIT:  I added *.mp3; to the mask.ini file and it found them now. Seems to be working fine.

I think you  need to have *.mp3 in your mask.ini as well so it will pick them up.
