Multi Monitor Issues

Hi,

I've just started using this software and so far think its great.

I'm having an issue where i want to play karaoke / video onthe 2nd monitor, i'm using a USB VGA card as the only other output on the mobo is HDMI and it doesnt like my vga - hdmi adapters.

I have the screen extended to the 2nd card, and it all works fine, but when i go into etouch to test it, in the appearance menu it says not active on all 3 monitor option. I've tried rebooting numerous times, updating drivers etc but to no avail.

there is another weird issue where by in the playing menu the play now and play next items are still viewable even though they are turned off in the settnigs, is this all because im using a demo version?

The Play now and play next still showing even if you have them turned off in the config shouldn't be happening that might be because you are using the demo and that was based on an older code set i will check for you tonight and make an updated demo based off the current code.

I Have had this happen to me too

I Find that booting up the PC with the 2nd monitor connected works
If not try windows setting like "connect external projector" in the display settings of windows
Also try I.D. the monitors (See if the 1 and 2 come up on the corresponding screens)

The Other one is to uncheck the box in etouch "use second screen for" then restart
and see if you can get the videos to play in the top right hand corner of the now playing screen.
Then see if a monitor is available in the appearace section of the etouch menu

Im still trying to work it all out too but a combo of these usually does it for me.

Can you share the brand and model of the usb video card your using?

Also make sure the secon monitor is placed to the right of the main screen in the windows properties otherwise it doesn't work.

Hi,

How much is the full version? i would also be looking into the coin things as well (if that costs extra)

the card im using is Startech (there were others but out of all of them the startech was the only brand i recognised) VGA2USB (inventive model number i know )

I will try the above suggestions when i get back form client.

Problem has been resolved was some silly utility loading with the usb gfx card

now onto the next one
