Touch response way off at times

Hi all I am running V7 with the standard black & blue skin @ 1028x768 on a 15" 3m touchscreen.
The problem I have is that sometimes when I select an album, the screen pages up/down instead of displaying the album. This happens about 50% of the time.  I know that if my calibration is off, an album cover close to the page down or page up may be mistakenly interpreted as that up/down request, but it happens with albums not even close to the page buttons.  Also sometimes when I press a button (album, back arrow, play) there is no response.  I can see the button graphic change to look depressed but no response.  I have no issues with my Bejeweled and slot machine games so it doesn't seem like a calibration issue.  I wonder if my computer may be too weak to run the etouch or if there it has its own calibration.  Its an intel celeron 1.3Ghz/512MB ram. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers. 8)

Thats a fairly low spec machine. If your database size is small not a big issue. The other thing that can affect performance is album cover size. If they are large, combined with a large music database you'll get performance issues. I'd try and double the ram at the very least if possible.

MAke sure you don't have swipe enabled, sounds like this is why it's paging.

Thanks for the input guys...Touch swipe was disabled but thinking along those lines I unchecked "use page transitions" and the response got alot better. I selected about 15 albums and it didn't page up or down.

Back to square one.  I thought it was working better but it's the same unresponsiveness.  I am planning to upgrade to at least a P4 3Ghz/1 gig ram and see how it goes.

The page transitions do run slow on some machines and i don't know why, it doesn't seem to be linked to anything in particular but if they are slow i suggest you turn them off.
