when using the slide bar to right of screen, it works fine for all albums if they exist except any starting with "A".
e.g. move down to "K" shows all albums with "K" move back to "A" and nothing happens. when I move the bar to "#" then I get albums beginning with "A". Anyone else had this  jumping up and down slide bar works fine, it is only letter "A"

Well I get an oddity now and then with the letter Z, but the only time I've what your discribing is if your filtering by a Genre and scroll down to a letter and it doesn't exist it would popup to what letter did exist.

I can jump about quite happily up or down between the letters. any combination. it is only when i choose "A" from anywhere on the slide bar I get nothing. Its not a problem to me as I know I can get round it by selecting "#" but just curious as to why. The albums beginning with "A" do run onto second screen, maybe that might contribute to problem?

So when you go to A it doesn't jump there? It might be an issue with A starting on the first screen. I don't see the problem as A starts several screens in for me. So does A start on the first screen for you is the question.

I have several albums of Abba and others beginning with "A" so as a result the "B"s do not start until the second screen. I cannot recall if it worked or not before I added "Abba" . maybe I could try reducing the quantity of A's and see what happens

So you have no ablums by artists starting with numbers? Like 2 unlimted.

no atists beginning with numbers. The first albums are Abba, Arctic Monkeys etc then "B"'s.  I tried reducing the quantity of "A"'s but made no difference

From what you said on previous post, I've just added one album with numbers as the name, and when I tried it out it works perfect.  when "A" is selected goes straight to "Abba" and numbered artist is not displayed. select the "#" and then it is. reselect "A" then back to "Abba" and numbered artist is removed from screen, even though there is only one.  At what part of screen is slide bar selection meant to show?. mine varies . selected letter can appear on any line. usually the bottom more then not, but never at a specific location.

Ah... Yes it pages so if it finds that selected letter on that specific page then it shows that page. The behavior you saw the numbered album i believe is a bug involving the first album I will take a look at that.
