E touch config not finding my videos

Sooooo,

I opened Etouch config, selected the video library, pointed it to where I have my videos and clicked on generate library.  It found nothing.  I have installed the latest K-Lite codecs.

I have 3 AVI files and 1 MKV file for testing in this folder and all of them are playing in windows media player.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong.  What did I miss?

I have the same problem if my video file are not on the same drive. Like a network drive.

You need each video in a sub folder you need sub folder.s

Oh my. So each video, even if they are videos from the same artist, need to be in indivdual sub folders ?

No just a single subfolder will work:

Artist/Video Hits

That's what I use.

Yeah i group each artist in their own sub folder. So all AC/DC videos are ina  folder called /ACDC - Videos/ with a cover image
