Thanks Moshed.  I got one of those AC/DC converters with the four different sized plugs on.  Like we used to use on the old Atari games console.

Rang out of money this month due to having to buy wedding rings.  Grim...

The larger PSU's are pretty cheap now as newer machines need power for graphics cards and the like. Here in the UK you can get a 750w one from maplin for £40. If you can hear the hard drive sounds through the speakers you might want to try adding a ground loop surpressor they are really cheap and seemed to work fine when i have had to.

Hmm, that sounds good.

Not really that fussed myself though whether my amp runs from ac or dc.  I have one of those power saving PC plugs, where u plug the base unit in to the middle ones, and when it powers down it cuts the power the the peripherals in the other sockets.

I can run the juke from one switch now which is sweet
