Long response time when adding all Tracks to queue

When I select an album and then Hit Add All to queue.  I then hit the BACK arrow to go to the Album covers page.  Sometimes I hit it 2 or 3 times before it actually goes. I guess it is only actually getting the first touch anyhow.  If I just wait 10 or 12 seconds after I hit it the 1st time, it will go back to the Album cover screen anyhow.

Any reason for the performance delay and any remedy??

Thanks.    Version V

Could be the touchscreen itself. The sensitivity of the screen may be set to low. Check the hardware drivers. What type of touchscreen is it? I havent had any issues with E-touch itself not responding to touches.  ???

Not your screen piball - i get that too. Doesn't happen every time though, just sometimes...my machine has done that forever, I just put it down to lack of memory...

I'm getting long delays as well since I updated to the 36 release. Don't think itsd memory related. XP with 1gig ram

i have always had this...tried rolling back to 5.0.01 just to prove it....lag is till there...

Because it is reading the tags for each track when adding it to the queue, so the more tracks you add the longer the lag will seem.

I don't think thats the case. I'm not sure why but I've had this on and off for ages. The only way to fix it as I have never managed to debug the issue is a complete uninstall and re-install with fresh database generation. I just haven't had the time to do it this time around. Once this process works you don't get the slowdown. For some weird reason every now and then when you install the app you get this problem.

Think that is just coincidence because the databases isn't used at all when adding an album to the queue.

I could make it quicker with a better queue management system that only stores the path to the media and displays the tag info when the queue is viewed. Also the queue is not stored in an array right now so changing that would also speed things up. I did start to rip out the queue system and replace it all but it was taking so long and causing so many bugs I reverted back to a backup. I am happy to work on this in the betas if this is really a major issue but it will not be a quick process.
