Question regarding "Year Tags"

Hello,
   I have some of my audio collection batched has "(artist name) Greatest Hits". So in the same artist's folder I may have 12 different tracks each tagged with a different release year. But when I play them, the "Release Year" doesn't change with each selection played within that same folder. I believe Freebox is just reading the first track's year tag, and not each track as played. Is there something I can change? Or is this the way the program was written?

It only shows the year tag for the album you are looking at not what is playing. You are also correct it takes this from the first song in the list.

Wasn't sure if was my configuration or not.
I was trying eliminate a bunch of single track albums.

Just as an observation...  My video and various artists collections...

If I have only 1 track left on a page...  It won't say "various artists" anymore on that page.
It lists who the artist is instead....

So if you run into this like that year, you'll know why!
