Which skin are you trying to modify?
How does it crash and do you get any error messages. You need to be more specific.
It sounds like you have some files missing.

I want to modify the black and blue 800x600 skin.
I get no error message. The Freebox window gets white like this:
The taskmanager says no responding and freebox uses 100% CPU.

Ok, are you using an english copy of windows? I ask because not all countries use . for a demial place and that can cause issues.

If you are using . for a decimal point it should be fine. However if you are using , then you will have problems. I think you can change that in the number settings of windows.

Sorry for the issues it is to do with how the files are read in. It sees , as a seperator in the data. I could probably get around it using " to enclose the line as 1 string I am not sure as it's not a common issue. Glad you are up and running.
