Couple of issues I'm seeing

I spent a really long time trying to clean up my MP3 collection so everything appears correctly.  There are some that I can't get to display correctly (album/title) even though the tags appear to be correct and look right in other programs.  Is it possible that it is an older tag?

For some reason the other albums on the album detail screen always shows undefined albums (no artwork and not clickable) and multiple instances of the same albums if you scroll far enough right.  Once again is this a tagging issue?

Lastly I bought an IR remote control (which I then fed into a universal learning remote that is RF since the computer is hidden) and got the key strokes to work, but they appear to be disabled when the now playing screen kicks on.  Is it supposed to work this way, or is there a setting to add the control buttons to the now playing screen.  The buttons (restart track, pause, and next track) don't kick the program back to the select screen.  Am I missing something?  THanks!

Check your tags are IDV2 and that the V2 tags are synced with the V1 tags using something like TAG & RENAME, there is a button to sync the tags.

For album art it loads the image from the album folder, is the image in there and is it a valid JPG file. You can check by looking in the error log to see if it's not a JPG file as there will be errors. Usually it's because a PNG or BMP has been given a JPG extension by mistake.

Can you explain a little more about the key strokes, is it just that it doesn't go back to showing the album screen?

I figured some of it out...I think.  The extra albums that were undefined were because I was redoing the database and not removing old albums, so when it updated it it saw two instances (?)

The keystroke thing:  My juke is a touch screen in my pool room in the basement.  I have a touch screen mounted in a wall.  Inside that wall (my furnace room and storage) is the PC and stereo.  I used an RF remote and remote repeater so that line of sight doesn't matter for volume up/down on the stereo, etc.  I wanted the ability to pause, go forward, and go back.  I mapped those functions to keys 1, 2, and 3 on the keyboard.  I bought an IR keyboard (with receiver dongle) and then mapped keys 1, 2, and 3 to the RF remote (so those functions can be done from the remote or the touch screen).   However when the screen goes to the now playing screen the key shortcuts no longer work.  I just added a click of the mouse to the RF remote and that solved that problem.

By the way, the download to the new beta doesn't appear to work.

Also, is there anything weird about the LED controller in the program.  It seems to look the LED display (even when the program is off) and you have to go into programming mode to be able to send other signals to the screen.

Looks like you may have found a bug, the volume and skin controls should work when the now playing screen is show i will take a look for you. As for the new beta download i'm not sure what you are refering too, you only have access to the demo. Are you refering to the link to the latest demo?

The Demo link is fixed, I can't replicate the key shortcut issue cause it works for me no matter what screen I was on.

Got the demo loaded and installed it.  Using the same set of source files to build the directory I got a different number of items (smaller in the new list) and all of my files are now screwed up.  I've attached pictures from the same part of the application (the M's) for reference.  It won't let me upload attachments for some reason.  Am I missing something really simple?  You'll notice that all of the albums (except one) have doubles.  Also, most of the album artwork is missing from this version.  I updated the config to look for folder.jpg, so that isn't the issue.

folder.jpg will not be displayed if it is not set to unhidden as it's a hidden file by default. When you say your files are screwed up what do you mean exactly?
