Various Artists?

i am having problems since i added some new music to my jukebox. ever since i added the music, alot of my artists have been moved to various artists? any ideas on why this happened. before i added new artists/music everything was working great. now i have over 20 "Various Artists".

They only show as various artists if the artist differs anywhere on the album.

i just put them all under the same album. i cannot see any difference in anything i have done. cannot seem to figure it out.

Open the album in tag and rename and make sure all the tracks have the same artist name. Use the bulk renamer to set them all the same and you should be good to go.

dont understand why this happened everything was working just fine until i added new music. then for some reason alot of my music was tagged back to the original instead of what i changed it to. oh well, everything is back to working normal now. had to just go into the properties of some of the music and make the necessary changes. thanks for your help.

Make sure you don't have media player set to let it change your tags.
