Yeah, your machines are obviously fine and dandy. I just downloaded the video just to see if it would download via another program, and the video downloads fine, but I have no sound on this PC.

However, as Barry has said in the other thread that you started, same subject you spammer lol

It is a bug that he cannot pin down at the moment.

I cannot see him putting any form of controls on the now searching screen, especially if it is locking up your end, as if it does lock up, then any functions would be locked out too.

I, however, have not had the program freeze up, if it is too slow, then I press my esc key and it goes to the admin screen, so I totally freeze free.

Yet I do not have much music on this PC so I cannot comment if it is because of a lack of MP3's and stuff.

I can hit escape key and exit jukebox but when i exit settings it goes back to search screen..

If you can download a video grabber www.dvdvideosoft.com is free and record screens it might help Barry but as I say I have no problems.

However, I am not using the version that you are, so it could be a bug in that version. I can agree that this is probably annoying, but for myself, this feature is the ultimate fallback really so it is not used my end.

Usually I have everything that I need, and if I don't then, of course, I run out and buy the CD.

(Dramatic pause and coughing fit)

However, I have not done any music videos for a while, so my collection is pretty low, but although they are pretty especially if you are showing on a second monitor, but do people actually watch music videos?

I will see if I can replicate the bug based on what you have posted here. The reason there is no cancel button on the search screen is 2 fold...

1/ It causes problems if it is downloading and some clicks cancel and then does another search.
2/ There is one but it doesn't show up for some reason (Another BUG)

So I could fix point 2 above then work on fixing the issues with point 1 but that is a lot of work and the downloading bug is still there. Or I just fix the downloading bug...

I am going to change the way the timeout value works that should ultimately be enough of a work around if I can't fix the actual download bug.

That would be much appreciated as for me it's the best skin I've used as it's quick and pleasing on the eye and performs as well as any pub jukebox but even faster with my setup.Tthe internet option is excellent and if the timeout is sorted it would be perfect. I'll keep watching this space..Do I assume all skins have the same timeout issue..

The only way to find out is try a different skin and see how you get on but I would assume you'd have the same problems as the time out is hard coded into E-Touch.

The skin tool does have a search page that is skinable but it doesn't work in the main E-Touch app. I can only assume this is a legacy page from older versions of E-Touch as it now simply uses the searching.gif combined with the Page_Black.jpg.

Yeah you only have two search pages that are skinnable, however, I think he means he is getting stuck on the now searching screen, rather than an actual page. I know what I meant.

Hi Sparkie, yep the time out issue is in the app not the skin.

If you get this sorted Baz it would be much appreciated. To be fair it's the only real fault my users have had with the juke. The only other issue which is obviously out of your control is the mis-naming/tagging of some online stuff, which I sometimes find amusing.

For example someone searched for Frank Zappa - Florentine Pagon and after hitting play got Bronski Beat - Hometown boy

Thanks for everyone's feedback will wait for barry to sort it out as i agree its the only thing wrong for me.  Everything else is flawless and i tag my own stuff so no issues there..
Once the timeout is sorted all will  be sweet..
