I am not aware of a monthly Billboard Hot 100 chart only weekly.  In the database which week was chosen for the data.  First week?   First full week?  Week that included the 15th of the month? Last week of the month?

The charts are mainly useless to be honest, you have a file for each month of the year.

Hardly any one touches them now and do not update the chart files, you could put anything you like really in the text file.

You have one hell of a lot of work if you want to complete the charts, trust me, I tried it and gave up

They were just compiled from the last week of the month IIRC. It supports upto 100 entries so can be the top 100. It does an auto download if the chart is missing, but i think that grabs the latest chart. You need to have online options set and I think it only downloads the UK ones.

i used to keep the charts updated every week but unfortunately other commitment's prevailed, if the charts are up to date to the present there's no reason why i couldn't crack on and continue continue them
