png support

is it a massive job to support transparent PNG images? I think it'd just be a lot easier for the skins if it were possible! I understand the black is transparent, but then any black pixels inside the buttons goes missing...

Transparency on the buttons works by taking the colour of the top left pixel and making that colour transparent across the button image. So put a colout there you want transparent and it will be fine.

I understand that - that's OK... but I was thinking of things like drop shadows etc. Those don't work too well unless they're done pixel by pixel! I'll have a play... I just think that if it's not a massive job, it'd be sweet!!

It's a huge job if niegh on impossible to do now. The button control i used doesn't support thos image formats, i could have used a custom image box and maybe i should have but it is probably too late now.

I have just spent a couple of hours looking at this. I am not sure it can be achieved easilly, but i never say never.
