I busy installing Windows XP embedded and when I install E-Touch and run it I get the following error message:

"Error Occured: 53
Discription: file not found
Module: Form1
Function: Form_Load"

I get this error even before the splash screen shows. When I select OK e-touch starts normal.
I suspect it has something to do with the Windows embedded as I have install this version of e-touch on the older XP operating system and I have no problems there. This embedded OS is much more striped down from Tiny XP.
I think something is missing but I don't know what. Any ideas guys?     ???

File not found? Hmmm I will take a look at what actions are preformed before the splash screen is shown and see if we can work it out from there.

No ideas yet? I have installed .NET Framework 3 and it is not it. I still have this issue.

File not found is probably something e-touch want's to load as opposed to a missing control or anything. If it was a missing control it wouldn't load at all.

Is there a way to suppress that error message so that it doesn't show up?
I try loading E-Touch in the command line using a handle but still the same.
It is something missing on my Embedded XP that E-TOuch needs but I don't knoww what.
If you can maybe tell my what E-Touch needs to start up then I can try and illiminate them one by one until I found the problem.

I will take a look when i get home tonight but i would assume it's graphic file have you tried a different skin? However if it appears as you say before the splash screen then it shouldn't be loading the skin at that point. It does parse the CVR files but even that it shouldn't be happening so early on. I normally check a file exists before loading up, it could be that you don't have the audiogenie dll or something that the audiogenie dll requires is missing but then i would have thought any tag reading would cause problems.
