Dear God, Please bring back Bob Marley, In return you can have Justin Bieber. Amen

I believe you will have to create a PNG format for any transparencies...
Just when you thought it not possible....TwelveNinedy

Is this for a button? If so you are better off using a transparent GIF or a BMP file.

No mate these are for the backdrops for each page, ive worked out that the opacity button in photoshop is the little gadget that makes the page semi transparrent but when ive saved the page as a jpg it becomes a solid colour. If i make a backdrop and save it as a gif or bmp file, will i be able to swap the jpg for a bmp in the skintool?

The backdrops cannot be semi transparent they can only be solid. So to create a transparent effect you need to build that into the page image. It can be done but like i said you have to make it all as one image.

If you are trying to make it appear that a page is over another one with transparency you would have to put a screen shot behind the transparent image in photoshop and save it out. Obviously it wouldn't really be transparent so the information displayed behind may not be correct. There are ways around this by making the image/page as small as necessary so there is little information being shown through the page.

EDIT: I have looked at doing this in code for you just and it is not easy at all.

You can do what you want but it's just a little more work... What screen were you thinking of doing it on?

Transparency does not exist in JPG format. You will need PNG or GIF.
