Sounds like a software/driver glitch to me. I don't use Windows 7 for my juke but have you checked your Event Viewer log?

Thanks for your help guys, after investigation im thinking its got to do a lot with ACPI, i need to find a way to disable this in bios and so far the only way to do this is to turn the function of and then reinstall the O/S otherwise theres a good chance ill be getting the blue screen of death

one other thing to check is the touch software set to multiple screen as it might be looking for a screen that isnt connected

Thanks for your help guys, Ive got it sorted now, the problem was the acpi settings in bios, Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI), I totally disabled it and reinstalled windows 7, then put
E-Touch back on and left it standing and running for 3 hours, when i touched the touch pannel to choose an album it responded straight away, so im putting XP back on as that doesnt need the acpi feature enabled to run smoothly whereas win 7 does.

Glad you got it sorted, the only time I have had it hang was when i booted up without me media drive connected and it was trying to play songs but there none availble.
