Noticed the latest version of 8 was availiable as a demo, so I upgraded to try it out as I continued organizing my collection.....Was working fine but now anytime I try to run config I get  "Runtime Error 68 Device Unavaliable"

I also had this problem, try config audio with only one album and generate database NOT update. If that works, you've got a dud mp3 in your database or, if you transferred your music via or from a Mac then you need to remove the.DOT files (using Dotdelete program), then it should work.

Can't use the config at all....Can't get past that error message, comes on as soon as I try to run it

Delete the database files then try again.

Sounds like you built it with the media on a USB drive that has now changed drive letter.... Delete the E-touch folder or rename it and re-install. Then run the config.

Thanks....that seemed to be it....couple more questions tho:

How am I able to add 2 folders to the library from seperate HDs? I have music I want to add on my internal & external, but seems the program will only let me choose one or the other..when I finish adding 1, everything works fine, but when I try to update it with the 2nd, I get another run-time error & it screws up...Ive tried both folders out on their own & they do work alone

& couple more things..

-Does version 8 have the ability to use minimize in fullscreen mode? I no longer see a minimize/maximize window button on the top or way to resize window that I'm pretty sure the previous version had...I much prefer the fullscreen but kinda annoying having to go the settings, then appearence section each time....Same with shutting it down too, to be honest...Is there a way to just quickly close the program out (without mouse) instead of going to settings & then shutdown? I absolutely love this program but thats like my only little complaint..Be cool if there was a "X" to close it at the top right corner or so....Maybe Im missing something though lol

Also, can you add music videos in the program as well? Think I saw somewhere that you could. If so what file extensions does it accept & how would you go about making image thumbnails/tags show up in the program to select like the music??

& finally, Can you subcribe to podcasts with E-Touch or will you be able to in the future? Not a big deal to me, just wondering, would really like it to be my one-stop mp3/music video software from now on..BTW planning to purchase it within the next few weeks hopefully

The only way to close it down is via the options menu this has always been the case. You don't want users to be able to close the app down. It's only 1 more press compared to having the power down button on the main screen.

The update button in the config is broken and I am hoping to fix this for the next release. This is the only way to work with 2 drives. The only option you have at present is to have seperate media on seperate drives or get a bigger drive.

There is no support to subscribe to podcasts however you can run the config with switches to auto update the library. You can set E-Touch up to shut down at a set time and run the config to generate the library then shut down the PC. This will sort of automate the process however you would need another app to download the podcasts.
