Not sure how to fix this, probably in the bonus credits file.

I am using a credit divider of 2 in coin settings therefore 2 coins = 1 credit. For the free credits to work accordingly I have to set it to two which gives 1 credit. Unfortunately if someone wins it displays 2 credits awarded which actually only gives 1 free credit. Is there any where I can amend what is displayed when a free credit is won so it displays 1.

Hot hits or history causes an issue on chart songs as their position changes when ever I update the charts and obviously the exact file name no longer exists as the track number changes as songs move up and down the charts. Is there a way to fix this or will I just have to remove track numbers in my charts album compilation.

I know it's not at the front of things to do but I still get requests to be able to sort by decade (60's, 70's, 80's etc) and not just by individual year. I have set up the collections but as mentioned before it is a bit flaky when a track is selected from the collections as etouch doesn't always recognise that there are credits and asks for coins.

This is a bug, that display should use the credit divider. I will fix this for the next beta.

So you are renaming files? Not sure why you would want to do this. Can you explain a little more what you are actually doing here?

Really I need to try and recreate the bug you are seeing with collections, I will have another look at this and see if I can recreate it. If I can then I can fix it.

re item 2.

I have and album tiled UK Top 40. Withing the album is obviously the UK top 40 with the track numbers assigned according to the chart position.

Obviously every week tracks move up and down the charts and I add/rename tracks in this compilation album to reflect chart positions and any new music that enters the charts so for example last week looked like this:

03 - Avicii - Hey Brother
04 - Jason Derulo - Trumpets
05 - Fuse ODG - Million Pound Girl (Badder Than Bad)
06 - Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You
07 - Matrix & Futurebound (feat Max Marshall) - Control
08 - Eminem (feat Rihanna) - The Monster
09 - Martin Garrix - Animals
10 - Beyonce (feat Jay Z) - Drunk In Love
11 - Bastille - Of the Night
12 - Lady Gaga (feat R Kelly) - Do What U Want
13 - OneRepublic - Counting Stars
14 - Little Mix - Little Me
15 - Sub Focus - Turn Back Time
16 - Avicii - Wake Me Up
17 - AWOLNATION - Sail
18 - Hardwell (feat Matthew Koma) - Dare You

so obviously for example if Ellie Goulding had been getting a lot of plays last week, when I update my UK Top 40 Album, this week she has change position and so has the track number.

Not sure, but if etouch doesn't use the track number for the path used in hot hits, I could leave the tracks as is when initially tagging but rename the files to exclude the track number.

Would that work?

Barcrest

the filename determines the order they show in the track listing so you would want the track number in the filename if you want them in the correct order. For the history those songs obviously would no longer be available and as such it will cause issues with hot hits. You really should be using the chart feature for the top 10 and just update that every week as that matches to the library regardless of filename and shows them in the correct positions.

You could however alter the history to point to the new filename but this is long winded, you could use the my venue function of charts to show most played for the previous month.

Is there a specific reason you have to erase the previous top 40? I put the date in the album name...

EG.
UK Top 40 (21-01-14)

Then you can just create a new one each week.

I am open to suggestions if you can thing of another way.

Thanks Barry.

As far as hot hits are concerned I can't stop people using it but I think the path goes something like C:\user\music\UK top 40\file name

If I have the file name including the chart position e.g.  C:\user\music\UK top 40\06 - Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You

and the chart position changes and as such the file name changes to  C:\user\music\UK top 40\05 - Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You

So will obviously screw up the path to the file in hot hits if it is something in the charts. It wouldn't take too much work to exclude the chart position from the file name and have it just read for example  C:\user\music\UK top 40\Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You, but I can still include the track number as the chart position in the tag.

Just rename the old exe to etouch8_bak.exe and put the new one in there. (Might be best to back the whole folder up just in case).
