reinstall app error please help

hello all,
i have version 8 which i paid for the licence, i had to wipe my machine and upon reinstalling get the reinstall error, can anyone point me in the right direction? windows 7 64 bit laptop.

Just to say that the forum had some problems a while back, so it is showing that you are a newbie rather than as a supporter so Barry will have to look into that for you.

At the moment it is Easter weekend in the UK so I cannot say when Barry will be back on, he might come on today but depends if he has any plans to go away.

It is 02:08 here at the moment so he will not be on now but possibly if he hasn't gone anywhere then he might be on tomorrow or failing that at worse on Tuesday as we have a bank holiday Monday.

As it shows your forum status as a newbie, the chances are you might not be able to see the private releases section to be able to download a new version.

Was you a version 8 supporter, lifetime or commercial?

iwas a version 8 supporter, the version i have was saved on my hard drive so didnt need to re download it??

If you done a format of your laptop it should have been ok as the registry should or would have gone. I will say this before Barry does

1) Do not install into a protected directory such as c:\program files
2) Always install as administrator (right click on installation file and then click on run as admin)
3) Always run main program as admin

I cannot think of why you should get problems though if you have done those 3 steps

yes the whole thing had been formatted, tried the steps with no success, thanks for the suggestions thou.
