Skin the splash screen..

I was going to ask you about that. Maybe just spruce it up some. Its kinda like watching a ford pinto pulling a bentley on a trailer. Uh to ah.

It the gray screen that comes up while starting up the Jukebox, it says Freebox with version number etc...

The image sits behind the text. Your easiest way would be to use Print Screen and grab a shot of it then adjust acordingly.. This splash.bmp has been supported since V3 i just forgot about it and noticed it whilst debugging something else.

just done a screen grab. it's 494x288 pixels

I just created a splash.bmp and placed it in to my skin folder - yet it doesnt work? Should it be in the root folder (freebox one) ?

Hmm i thought it was in the skin folder for the current skin. I will take a look tonight.

It needs to go in the SKINS folder, not your skin folder. 

Barry, any chance of getting the text color changed on it?  I made a black background and you can't see the text?

I suppose i need to make a change... I will update tonight. So it looks for it in your skin folder and i will also try and make a way to edit the text colours.
