Part 3 of the E-Touch Tutorial

A Walk Around the Software

Basic Play Features

Now that we have installed E-Touch, got our MP3's tagged and loaded into the library, we can see what features E-touch has.

As with the previous tutorials, the instructions will be BELOW each graphic.

E-Touch is started, showing the music we have in our library.

Just press the album cover to see the music available from the artist and album. For this turtorial we will use The Doors.

Now that the album cover was pressed, we see songs 1-9 listed. If there are more than 9 songs on the album, just select more to show the next 9 songs. Select song 01 Break On Through.

Now that song 01 Break On Through has been selected, we have a few options. You see them above and you make your pick. We selected the Play Now Button. After the button press, you are automatically taken back to the main menu

Now that the song is playing, you can control the song. In the bottom left corner, you see an 'Arrow Left' button, a 'Pause' button and an 'Arrow Right' button.

The Arrow Left takes the song back to the begining. The Pause does just that, it pauses the song until you tap the pause button again to resume play. The Arrow Right takes the song to the end an virtually 'Quits' the song. If there are more songs in the Queue, then then next song will automatically start.

We now select the Genesis cover.

Again, the songs are listed. We select 'Add All to Queue' button.

We are then taken back to the main menu.

Now on the left hand side, select 'Queue' Button.

Now you will see all the songs you selected in the queue waiting to be played. You see you have two options when at the queue screen 'Clear Queue' or 'Shuffle Queue'. Choose which one you want or just let them be and they will play in the order listed. Select 'Back' in the upper left corner to return to the main menu.

Now on the left hand side, select the 'History' button.

You will then see the songs that have already been played. E-Touch keeps a record of what songs were selected, played and when. After viewing the songs, select the 'Back' button in the upper left corner.

Now select the 'Top 10' button.

You are now building a database of what song are played the most. This will change as some songs are played more than others. Songs move in and out of the Top 10 as they are played. Select 'Back' in the upper left corner.

Now that we have explored some basics for playing music, when your library grows, notice on the right hand side that there are two 'More' buttons and a 'Letter' slider. Press the 'More' up to go toward the A end of the alphabet and 'More' down to go toward the Z end of the alphabet. You can use the letter slider to 'Jump to' a specific letter, say 'G' for Genesis.

Thats is the basics for playing music. There is so much more you can do.
