Videos not in list

First let me say that I use Firefox and the download helper.
I went to youtube and captured some videos and they saved as .flv files. I go into the non mp3 tagger and all is good the flv shows up but when I go into the config and try to do a video database after switching to the correct folder nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong?

Convert the FLV files to AVI's or mpegs. AFAIK they will not play in media player. Failing that download the hi-def version they are MP4 files which should play with the correct codecs. I have used E-Rightsofts Super to conver the FLV's to AVI's before without any issues.
