I found these really interesting jukeboxes that I would like to make touchscreen jukeboxes out of. There is only 6 inches between the top and bottom of the window (see pic). How big of a screen could I fit in there and is E-touch still visually large enough and accessible, or is this too small ?

For some reason I can't post a pic, but here it is:

Alright pal - welcome to the forum.

Had a quick browse through ebay and come up with something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-2-VGA-RCA-AV-Touch-Screen-PC-TFT-LCD-XGA-Monitor-UK_W0QQitemZ130355122003QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_ComputerComponents_Monitors?hash=item1e59c54f53

This should fit in the gap - see the dimensions further down the listing.

Not sure how it will look though - perhaps someone else can help with that.

I've actually been lurking for about 6 months and decided E-touch is the best jukebox software out there. I've taken the past 4-5 months and changed all of my file structure and ID3 tags to be compatible and now everything works great. I've got access to 15" touchscreens for about $100 Canadian. But this AMI jukebox is just so cool looking. A 10.4" ELO overlay is max 188mm high which is just a touch too big but I can get it to work. I spent the day researching and have discovered it is not worth it to use a laptop LCD and adapt it to a desktop motherboard (athough it can be done).

Anyone stripped a netbook with a 10" screen and put a touch overlay on it ?
