Video selection issue ? (Wrong fan art displayed)

I'm sure the answer is on here somewhere ?? But I can't find it ?

I've been running Mp3's for quite a while now, and all are tagged, have album art and most have fan art and all work TIDY !

As my video surfer has closed itself down I've started looking at adding Music Videos !
And I will then move the PC I built for testing E-touch into the POSH ? Video surfer cabinet ...
And I can then get the touchscreen working  ;)

The Problem I'm having whilst only at this stage trying two mpegs is ....

I plan to keep the videos seperate so they are in their own folder d:\music videos
Below that I have Sub folders eg ....
D:\Music videos\acdc
D:\Music videos\zztop

In each folder is just the one mpeg, the file produced from creating a Tag and covers copied from the appropiate album from my normal Music folders ?

I ran config, switched to Video and changed the selection to Just Mpeg and it found both files ....

When e-touch is started it shows the two Mpegs with covers ..  wahey I thought !?

However when you click on the album it gives the track list display with the correct available track but it has the Wrong Fan Art in the background ?

Anyone else had this or is it just lucky me ?

Cheers

well actually it's Black eyed peas but I can't see an obvious connection as its not the MP3 that was last playing before the video for example ?

But I guess it could of been the last track to play when the E-touch screensaver last cut in with the Fan Art ....

Sorry for being a pain ....

I'll have more time tonight to investigate it further ?

Could be that if it doesn't find any fanart that the last fanart found is showing. Try adding a default.jpg to your fanart and see if that gets displayed for artists without fanart.

Hi ...
Finally got some time to play with it  :tommy

I tried adding a default.jpg but no good .....
I couldn't see any connection to why that particular fan art kept coming up ...

So I fully uninstalled, even deleted the folders ... then reinstalled ...

I ran config and did the music files ....Tested all ok
I then ran config on the video files and ... same bl**dy fanart ....??
I then ran config again and ....voila all looks good ??
It was weird I'd even checked for wrongly named fanart & covers .... :downer

But all working loveley now  ;D

Now to backup all the music videos and tag them  ::)

Cheers again
