So do you have to manually enter the CD information into a database or do you look it up on the web from the CD ID number using CDDB?

I use my finger on mini touch screen FingerVu 985S, i touch artist cover, and select it , and then touch GO , and the software to all alone..send one command to dacal power driver ! Magical

I mean when setting up your software. How did you get the CD Information in and how easy is it to add/remove CD's from the software.

Ahhhh  , yes i did one module panel in Visual Basic, then  I would  inserting CD information,  and has 2 button commands that find me cover art and play list,  all on line way internet . then i copy and paste .this information to my Database Msaccess Table ,  I do this just one time.

Hello !
Just a suggestion:
Would you feel more comfortable with having a second power supply dedicated just for the amps.
WOW, Up to *70A* You'll have to increase the wire size (lower gauge) to pull the amperage through a single physical wire.

Here's a couple formulas that may help:
Amps = Watts / Volts
Amps x Volts = Watts

Even thourgh the NZXT Hale90 PSU says +12vdc @ 70A, that's at absolute max output before the fire. :o
To make the PSU last a long time. I'd calculate a comfortable 80% PSU output. now is only 12+vdc @ 56A

56A x 12vdc = 672 watts

The total RMS output of all amps & subwoofer combined shouldn't exceed 672 watts or the power supply will have a short lifespan.

Disclaimer: I have been wrong before.. :-\

Keep the pics coming...
Can't wait to see the cabinet... ;D

Hi Adolfo,

I do like your project and hope you will be able to finish it.

The work you have done so far is very impressive.

The use of a DACAL PowerDrive ist another hit.
I did'nt even knew that something like that exist!

I wish you good luck for the rest  :beer

There also simular drives made by sony that I looked at a while ago. The advantage of using a CD drive for the music is it is a lot easier (Especially in the U.S.) and also a lot cheaper to licence for commercial usage. I never did get hold of a drive to impliment the code into E-Touch though as there didn't seem any interest. I found this a little odd really as you could legally have these running in bars all across the states and 300 albums is a pretty decent selection. You can also daisy chain them to have even more albums should you want a lager library.
