Does Freebox recognize mp4 video files .?

AFAIK they will play. I personally use DIVX or XVID to encode them. You need an AVI extension off the top of my head or MPG for them to play. If your media player will play them freebox should...

My Media player will play them but I think as you stated Freebox only recognizes the avi extension it does not recognize mp4 as when you use the non-mp3 tagger it cant see them in the folder..
