Noob Questions About Commercial

Forgive me if this has already been answered elsewhere but I have a few questions. I'm considering donation for the commercial license but I'm curious about the ID from the credit module among other things:

1. What steps should I take to get the commercial license? Do I need to have the Full version first?

2. If I chose to reformat this PC at a later time, what consequences might come from this? What steps should I take to preserve my paid software?

3. Also, if I upgraded the hard drive  or CPU or any major component would this have any consequences?

4. I dont yet have a working bill acceptor on my build, is it necessary to have it before donating for the commercial license?

Once your account is upgraded to commercial user you have access to al the full versions and beta's. You do not need to pay for the full version then a commercial license.

2. If I chose to reformat this PC at a later time, what consequences might come from this? What steps should I take to preserve my paid software?

If the hardware hasn't changed you can just re-install it and copy your license file back and it will be up and running. I suggest you take an image once everything is working and restore from that so you setingsare preserved.

Yes the key is tied to hardware, although this hasn't been a problem in the 10 years or so we have been around.

If you have the PC buil thats all you need, the bill acceptor can be added after.
