Heres the before.

It had a 19" CRT tube monitor.I replaced it with a 19" LCD and a flat bezel.I also removed the coin mech and made a custom face plate for a set of 150w yamaha speaker boxes.Theres also a center speaker behind a custom plate with speaker grill cloth.
Heres the after pics.

I see you have the mega touch dongle board still hooked up, are you dual booting with that somehow?

Yeah im dual booting via grub.If only there was a boot loader with touch screen support. :(

The dongle board and motherboard came from a megatouch. Those are the two main parts you MUST have to run the soft. And your touch screen and controller must be microtouch.

Im running ion 2009.5 soft and security key I bought on ebay for a good price. They sell for pretty cheap once the next years version comes out.
They switched to grub instead of LiLo which made it even easier to dual boot.

The kernel is definitly NOT modified in anyway.

Wasn't saying you had modified it but i have seen modified versions that will run on pretty much and PC that is what i ment.

I know barry.I just wanted to make that clear to anyone else reading. You would be surprised how far that company will go if they even just think you are infringing on a copyright of theirs.I met a guy who already went through a court battle with them just for selling a specific manufacturer's part that they used in one of their systems. Now this is a common part you could buy on newegg at the time. The guy didnt break any laws, but that didnt stop them from raiding his house and taking all his inventory.Took the guy years to get all his stuff back.

I thought of using Merit upright, Installing a second motherboard inside to run E-touch. Keeping audio from game coming from small speakers, installing or mounting better sound quality speakers in lower cabinet for juke sound. And use a simple KVM switch to switch between the two, using the same monitor and touchscreen,  so that music is playing and the game is also playable at the same time. This would avoid having the Dual boot setup. But since I am on my fourth box I have scaled down to using a Merit EVO with an external amp and speakers and not using the games. I have ran out of room for spare parts. BE CAREFUL this has become an addiction. Always trying to build the better mousetrap ( juke ). :o
I hope you all have had as much fun with this as I have. Thanks
