10.2.0 will have bugs, there have been 26 releases since then with a ton of bug fixes. Not many using this now but those that are will be running that latest beta. I am happy to release the latest Skintool and you can play with that, I will see if I get time later today.

I sadly am having issues with album view in Skin Tool.

I am using 10.20 and when you try and create a skin and say that you want eight album arts.

It will produce eight artist and album tags, the cover files are invisible and they do show up when you run etouch, but you cannot see them in the editor so you cannot move them into place.

I have used Tel's V-Hub covers and that does not work.

I reported this bug years ago not producing files but sadly still there.

Skin tool is one of those items that you want to give out free so that if someone comes into the forum, and they have a go at the skin tool and they see it does everything that they want it to do, then that is a deal maker.

Having buggy software is a deal breaker.

10.20 should not even be listed if it does not work.

Skin Support / Skintool still buggy

Well 2026 and 10.20 skin tool is buggy as hell.

I am trying to start a new skin and I have tried multiple times, you cannot see the cover files for the albums like you should be able to because you need to see them to be able to move them into position.

I tried the old trick of using another skin's cover file but again that does not work.

All of these bugs were in the Skin Tool years ago at least two now and still not been fixed.

I am going to keep trying but I know that I am going to throw it out of the window at some point because I am skinning for my arcade machine as well, and that is far more important than the jukebox.

I notice that on album view I have some weird thing that should not be there, the best way of describing it is like having dead pixels on a monitor, it should not be there.

Just a shame that none of these bugs that were reported years ago have been fixed.

i use berry's portrait skin on my 26 inch screen looks well had it running with a slim dell pc hidden behind the screen does the job looks smart and had no problems had this setup for a few years

Good to see you again John. I hope you are well? I am about a week or two weeks from setting up the jukebox. I am just doing my Arcade PC at the moment, installing all my games onto hard drives ready to start on Launchbox and emulation.

I can then hook up the jukebox and vertical PC build that I now have and put the monitor into vertical mode so that I can have a refresher on skin tool and hopefully with the help of AI then I can hopefully make better graphics.

Well that is the plan, but all the best laid plans often mess up lol
