Well a P400 works, but how usable it would be i couldn't say. The minimum specs are really a PIII 700mhz, you don't have much to lose from testing it though.

I got it to run ok on a 450 a while back. It wasn't the fastest, but its just playing music.

My 1ghz machine runs really nice, but thats about as low as Im willing to regulary use it.

Link misteriously slipped into the ninth Dimension

If I recall correctly it may NOT be a ZIP I think I renamed just for downloading purposes, rename just to .ISO and burn on to a CD

If you want you can try to unzip and let me know I think you'll get an error. make  sure u use WINZIP as WINRAR will actually extract the contents of an ISO as if it were a compressed file thus leaving the resulting data useless (for CD burning purposes as their is CD Booting code in the ISO that would be lost)

I will leave this file here only a couple of days as Obviously uncle Bill would get most upset if he found me posting this kind of material.

feedback? recommendations? changes on my FAQ on perfect jukebox?

You need to find a program like imageburn that will extract the .iso file and burn its contents to a CD. Imageburn is free by the way. ;)

This includes everything I need to install right?  Sorry if that is a dumb question.  I just don't want to find out I can't get it to work and then have to reinstall windows from scratch.

thanks again

Most any CD burning software can burn directly from an ISO image (NO EXTRACTING NECESSARY) as a matter of fact if you extract the files you will loose the special booting code included in the ISO.

Ez CD Creator or Nero (My favorite) will work fine and you can download a demo version of nero that will work fine at www.nero.com

As per your question regarding "everything I need" the answer is YES it performs a full instalaltion mno need for anything else.

Image is gone from my site but plenty should have it by now.

:)

Regards
.

With my 1ghz running Win2K it took longer to boot up than TinyXp does to boot and load FreeBox. ;)

The only problems I had with an older relese of Tiny and I haven't tried this one as of yet was I needed to have the drivers for my Touch screen monitor and my wireless card. Other than that it was ready to run the Juke right off the CD oh minus Freebox of course. ;)

I completely agree with Netcat on Nero and others ready to burn it. I've just alwys used ImageBurn becuase its small and quick to download.

As for speed if I remember correctly Tiny only uses about 40meg of ram.

I agree 100% on everything.

I'd like to point however regarding "drivers for my Touch screen monitor and my wireless card" you would have to download/Install these regardless of what OS you are installing, to the best of my knowledge TinyXP contains the same driver database than Regular XP does and this database is not very updasted, therefore if your devices require download/install drivers in Regular XP they will in TinyXP as well.
